Text Messaging (SMS) Terms and Conditions
Program Overview
Sasquatch Farm RV Park offers an SMS text messaging program that sends guests texts about their reservation and stay, including confirmations, reminders, park updates, and important announcements. Messages are sent from and replies are received at our number, (423) 919-9852.
Consent and Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our text messaging program, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated informational and transactional text messages (SMS and MMS) from Sasquatch Farm RV Park about your reservation and stay. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile number you provided when making a reservation, submitting an online form, filling out a paper form, or verbally during a conversation with our staff. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive text messages as a condition of making a reservation or purchasing any goods or services from Sasquatch Farm RV Park.
Methods of Opt-In
- Submitting your phone number via our website contact or reservation forms
- Texting a keyword (START or JOIN) to our designated number
- Verbal consent during phone calls with our staff
- Paper form with a consent checkbox
Types of Messages
Reservation confirmations, check-in/out reminders, payment confirmations, park updates, weather or emergency alerts, on-site event notifications during your stay, and customer service replies.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Typically 2–4 messages per reservation, plus park updates or emergency alerts as needed during your stay.
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
Opt-Out and Cancellation
Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT) to any text message from (423) 919-9852 to opt out at any time. You may also contact us directly by phone or email, or submit a written opt-out request via our website contact form. You will receive one final confirmation message after opting out.

Privacy and Data Protection
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are used only to send you texts about your stay that you agreed to receive. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, using industry-standard security practices.
Carrier and Device Requirements
You must have a US-based mobile number and a device capable of two-way text messaging with a participating carrier, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
This service is offered "as-is." Sasquatch Farm RV Park is not liable for delayed, failed, or undelivered messages, carrier issues, or any resulting damages.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide an accurate and current mobile number, notify us of any number changes, and indemnify Sasquatch Farm RV Park against claims arising from your failure to keep your contact information up to date.
Compliance with Laws
This program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FCC regulations, CTIA guidelines, the CAN-SPAM Act, and applicable state laws. We do not send content related to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, or tobacco (SHAFT). Quiet Hours: we do not send non-urgent texts before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM local time, except for emergencies or time-sensitive messages about an active reservation.
Modifications to Terms
We may modify, suspend, or terminate this program at any time. Changes are effective upon posting.
Dispute Resolution / Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes are subject to the courts of Marion County, Tennessee.
Entire Agreement
These SMS Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding our text messaging program.
